An Executive Business Lunch

This man, Mr. Colin, who kept pestering my colleague to meet up and have lunch with, finally met up with us today. Not that she purposely dragged me along, but I offered in case she didn't want to be alone. Haha.. We suggested something cheap - Delifrance. But No... he's not contented with that place. Not high class enough for him. So he suggested eating at Olive Green at Inter-Continental Hotel at Bugis – one of the restaurants in that hotel, serving Mediterranean food. I didn't feel like eating that, so I said no. So, the other restaurant at that hotel would be the Japanese Restaurant. But I forgot the name of the restaurant already. Anyway, yup, I have never entered such a high class Japanese Restaurant so far.

And when I looked at the menu, I'm like huh? What do I eat? Simply because I'm not a very Jap person, who really fantasize Jap food. Anyhow, I just ordered something that might taste good. And true enough! FANTASTIC! Well, you don't pay so much for shitty stuff. Damn, its solid stuff baby!! In total, it costs $180, and this is the 1st time we ate with the guy, we only met him once and whoa. What a treat!!! Then he drove us back to our workplace.. Apparently, he went to London, Japan, Indonesia.. etc. think he's trying to impress my colleague. but instead of creating an Impression, i think he made us feel hes a SNOB.

Back to work now. Enuf slacking girl.

Darn freaking Tired!

Yuppers. i was at the Expo CommunicAsia 2004 event the whole of this week... trying to get companies to let us do BS7799 Certification for the companies. Sth like ISO, but its for Information Security. Lotsa hard work man......

next week gotta pia. Im gonna b working late hours in the office... im like out of the house for more than 13 hrs each day, damn shitty tiring can?! sigh no energy anymore..... gotta go slp ta.

My Berfday

Hiya! Wassup?! Im gonna be busy tmr!! meeting up w dear teresa, cos shes gonna pass me my bday present! haha...... my good frenz really remembers my bday & gives me pressies.....!! im so happy cos dearie mel bought me so many G-Strings. nice man.... its from roxy, playboy n all.. haha she knows me best! muacks.

I was invited to this guest event Leadership Seminar.. to network with people and stuff. It was interesting, but after awhile it felt like all the other 'self-awareness' camps, catholic camps, u know that kinda stuff.. Of cos the detailed activities are different, but the Gist of it is the same? I socialized around til I come to know of this man, around the early thirties? most of e pple are ard that age btw, and hes what i really call a MAN, to me at least.. I like his thinking, his maturity, and i believe he gives his wife a Strong sense of security.... Maybe cos guys my age are not that mature yet.. i believe these kinda things takes time.

I had a WONDERFUL holiday at genting, pple ask why genting? a boring place, but to me its not cos of the exploration into the world, one of my dreams is to travel around the world.. this hol was plainly a getaway from singapore, since im having hols now. i wanna haf at least a getaway before i start work.. And considering i juz went to Korea last Dec, i tink its pretty enough.. A break from the usual Singapore life.. People there sure can gamble. i wonder how much is their monthly income. those Uncles & Aunties gamble by the thousands!!! they exchange 1k by 1k..... soon Zero K.. it was an eye opener for me. esp for roulette. they bet on almost every number on the scoreboard.... oh and by the way, i TRULY believe that Jackpot Needs LUCK! hahaha. cos im one of the luck victims. HEE. ciao.
